Hyperstring.net Terms of Trading

Warranty.

  1. Hyperstring.net Ltd provides no warranty implied or otherwise whatsoever in regards to the products and services developed. The software and development is purchased on an as is basis at the risk of the purchasing company.

  2. Hyperstring.net Ltd takes no responsibility and will not bear loss for any failing of Second Life and its servers. The customer undertakes this work understanding that at any time Linden Labs may take the servers offline for maintenance at any time without notice or warning.

  3. In the event the customer fails to pay invoices within the agreed timescale (normally 14 days), Hyperstring.net reserve the right to remove the services or products supplied from the customer until the customer has paid in full.

 

Hire Agreement (where applicable)

  1. The hire period is as stated in the proposal. The customer must give 7 days notice if they wish to increase the length of hire, in the event of this, it is at Hyperstring.net’s discretion if the hire can be extended.

  2. In the event of damage to any of Hyperstring.net’s virtual property. The customer can be held liable for repairs.

  3. The customer has no rights or ownership over the land hired or items theirin, the hire is simply the use of the facilities for a specified time.

  4. Once the deposit is paid this is non-refundable. In the event of cancellation, Hyperstring.net reserves the right to charge for any other build or programming carried out in relation to the proposal.

 

Products, Scripts & Graphics

 

  1. Unless the graphics are the copyright of the customer. All builds and graphics remain the property of Hyperstring.net Ltd. The customer is granted a software license to use these items upon the land where they are placed by Hyperstring.net, where the land is owned by the client and the project is not a rental.

  2. Hyperstring.net must at all times have permissions to access items it has built.

  3. The customer must withhold access to other parties outside of the customer’s own company to any structures or scripts apart from the day to day running required to develop the site.


Technical Support

 

  1. Whilst a reasonable amount of technical support is provided along with the work, Hyperstring.net may charge at it’s discretion and the agreement of the customer for technical support if it becomes unreasonable or is outside of the scope of the proposal.

 

 

Development

 

  1. Hyperstring.net will agree to the development within the scope of the proposal, in the event the customer requires work outside of this proposal, the customer will expect to be charged.

  2. Whilst Hyperstring.net agrees to develop within the time frame outlined in the proposal, we make no guarantees or warranties attached to this time frame. It is purely for guidance only.

  3. If the customer fails to supply required items or graphics to Hyperstring.net in a timely fashion, Hyperstring.net may extend and charge for any extra time or time lost in the development.

 

The customer agrees to these terms of trading by paying the initial deposit to Hyperstring.net Ltd
